This question is not clear - not sure what you're asking - unless you're saying you've got a couple of roots of echinops that you've bought somewhere in a package - if that's what you mean, then pot them up and when they're growing well, plant them out. If that's not what you mean I'm at a complete loss as to how else to interpret the clues you've given above.
