Cordyline plant few years old lost all trimmed back all leaves top of plant soft. is it probably dead. only remaining a stalk 3ft.6inch bare.

Cut the stem down by half again - if its soggy, its probably had it, but if you can bear to wait and see, it might shoot from the base or further up the bit of stem left.
