I have been given some phlox paniculata. How high does it grow and what is the spread? for tubs or borders ?

yes I agree with Rogerbee. but there are some smaller varieties that grow to about 2ft. I have mine in the borders.

Mine grows to about 90 cms and my 3 yr old piece is about 30-40cm across at ground level. I would put it in a border rather than a tub.
