digging up conifers

i planted 3 conifers and 3 rose bushes,that was six years ago it was the first time i had planted anything i never thought that those small trees would grow to five foot ,they are growing right up in front of my living room window also my rose bushes are lovely lots of flowers but you can gardly see them for the conifersif i dig them up to replant round my back would it do my roses any harm as they are quite close how would i do it and when would be the best time.

Personally I d prune roses by half then lift them - put them to one side then move conifers take a foot off top growth and re-plant.Put roses back in firmly as conifers may have been protecting them from wind rock.This I d do end Sept / Oct.
