If these are the old leaves from last years growth they will go brown, curl & drop off. If it's young shoots this is happening to, may be the frost. Would suggest it is too early in the season yet to be rust or black spot as you're not likely to have that much growth on them yet that leaves are fully formed? Other possibility once leaves are formed - could be a soil deficiency.
