Name a plant ??

I've been asked what this plant is. Unfortunately i've no idea, and my friend whose garden it is in doesn't know either.
Does anyone know what it is?

Looks like annual Mimulus but it will self seed especally in damp conditions which it likes.

I have some mimulus growing from seeds sown last year. It's an annual and has fantastic bright flowers. It gets the sun all afternoon and thrives. I have a pic on my photos.

It's called Mimulus ( or monkey flower ). There are several species, some annual and some perennial. I can't tell which this is. Maybe someone will answer you better.
