I have several orchids with Mealy Bug have sprayed them many time with bug killer but they wont die any suggestions please

I find the best thing is to either dab each individual one with a insecticide, or to wipe them off with a damp tissue......

A cotton bud dipped in alcohol and applied to each one works quite well but is time consuming.
