A neighbour has sprayed his nettles with a weedkiller and it is killing my daughters sunflowers on the otherside of the fence, is there anything I can do to save them??

If it was a systemic weedkiller (affecting the leaves and travelling through to the roots), then I am sorry, but the answer is no. You will have to buy her another packet of seeds - or ask him to! What a shame.
