Soil can be poor due to lack of nutrients (plant foods) or because it is too dry or too wet for the plants you want to grow. There are plenty of plants that thrive in poor soils. Are you trying to grow something in particular? Most soil problems can be solved by adding compost or manure.

As you are in Kuwait I assume your soil is dry and sandy! Add as much manure and bulky matter as possible.
