Something is nibbling the edges of my aeoniums. Any ideas what?

It may be vine weevil, are they rounded holes about 5mm across?

Yes, tip them carefully out of the pot and look for little white grubs, quite plump and about 1cm long, usually in a 'c' shape. Get rid of all of these and repot. Or are there slimy trails around indicating slugs/snails?
