Too late for main crop potatoes?
Help please. I had an operation in April and wasn't able to plant my Picasso potatoes till now. Is it just too late ? If not what's the best way to plant them - at my allotment or at home in patio bags?

Well, it is seriously late for planting, Sunbeam, but the only alternative for them is the rubbish bin. If you plant now you 'may' get a reduced crop but that will be better than none at all. And yes, planting in the ground in your allotment will give much greater chance of success than in patio bags.
