If the stems have no flowers on them cut the stem back. Keep watering the orchid but let the water drain away, don't leave the plant to sit in water. I'd advise an orchid feed, you can get ones to stimulate both flower and leaf growth. There's a good website www.regalorchids.co.uk you may want to look at - they have some useful informtion and also sell the plant food online.
