The weather is depressing and, I think, getting us all down. I live in North Herts area and this morning is 7c, windy and wet. Chelsea yesterday, and although it kept dry (on the whole) it was cold. I do hope this summer is not going to be a washout.

The weather has been awful and the greenhouse is just packed full of bedding plants ready to be planted.I suppose patience is required but it just so frustrating!Hopefully this weekend will see an improvement.Keep the faith!

Just possible we may get some sun and less wind according to aunyt beeb......either that or they are just saying it to cheer us up......

The wind has been blowing here for 3 days. Despite sunny spells it's cold - not very conducive to staying outside! My bedding plants are out during the day, but back inside overnight - just in case.

Lovely sun here but a strong north wind. Fancy having to garden in a fleece in late May!

You try running a garden centre! It's been very difficult and frustrating for over a year now. I found myself yelling furiously at the wind today as two pieris and an azalea were blown clean off their display stand to land foliage first on concrete, and tumble out of their pots. Made the customer (you'll note the singular) jump.

There's lots of sympathy around for owners of gardens centres, but sadly only the sunshine will bring in the customers. Hope today was better for you Worthy1.
