I bought a Stella cherry tree last year. It had leaves but no fruit last summer. This year it is covered in buds but they don't seem to be growing. The apple tree (also bought last year) is nearby and full of lovely blossom. Is it due to the horrible cold spring or is there something wrong with it?

Thank you for replying. It was container grown but put in the ground last summer. I havn't watered this year as it we've had such cold weather. The apple tree, right next to it, is fine.

Was it bare root or with a root ball last year? Has it been watered? April has been very dry.
