I know it is a Corydalis but can anyone tell me which one.

I would say it was one of the many forms of Corydalis solida, but...................

Thanks Owdboggy. I got it on the members plant stall at the srgc show on Saturday. I also bought one marked as solida so I can compare the flowers later. There are lots of photos of solida on the web and I know they vary in colour. I was hoping someone might recognise the colours on this one.

That is the colour of most of my unnamed ones.

How tall do yours grow Owdboggy?

15 inches maximum for solida.

Thank you. I needed to know how high it might grow before choosing a place to plant it.

Basically anywhere where Snowdrops or Bluebells thrive. It is a plant of deciduous woodlands.

I have the perfect place for it but it would have been lost in that situation if it was only 8" high like some of the others I have. Thanks again.

Give it a couple of weeks and there will be nothing to see. They die down pretty soon after flowering and setting seed,

I understand that Owdboggy. I will mark where I plant it so I don't accidentaly dig it up.
