Can you help identify a plant in my yard?

Asked on 5 Jun, 2008

Leaves smell lemony/citrusy and the stems have thorns. I thought it was a rose, but it hasn't bloomed. It was mowed down by deer last fall, but most have returned this spring.

It certainly has rose-type leaves. It probably hasn't flowered because the deer ate it! Give it a chance to recover, feed it and wait and see!
