it will have to be kept frost free.so a heated greenhouse or warm conservatory. they prefer full sun and free draining soil/compost. I have never grown a coconut but my friend has one in her conservatory in burnley. she had one previously but it died when her conservatory didnt stay above 3 degrees centigrade for a couple of days. The replacement is about 5 yrs old now.
