Giant toadstool! Thought you might find this entertaining, also I'd like to know if there is something I should be doing to get rid of these. This one is about 12" in diameter, that's my size 8 garden clog, included for scale.

the fungi wont cause any harm... I'm loath to try and i.d. from the photos though it 'looks' like some we see locally growing in beech/birch woods.
