I have a Dahlia that didn't get planted earlier this year. I'm in Zone 7B (Georgia, US)...the sprouts have started to come out of the original packaging. Should I still planted outside now even though we are in the 'fall' season. Or should I try to plant it and keep it indoors till next spring? What's everyone's advice for my Dahlia?
Thanks in advance! :)

i'd be tempted to take the risk of growing it as an indoor/cool conservatory plant. you could take some of the shoots off and try to root them.

I would take off any shoots and keep the tuber over the winter in a box of dry compost..in a frost free place. It can be started into growth in early spring.
