mystery plant, what is it

This plant came in the soil with strawberry plants, i'm told it grows 2or 3 feet high with flowers hanging from branches. and it's supposed to be invasive.

I agree - so don't worry about it being invasive, it's a biennial and if you cut off the flower spike before it seeds, you won't get any more 'babies'. Leave it of course if you decide you like it!

Yes, we get loads of these every year. I throw away most, but some I move around to fill in gaps. They provide some useful "height" in a border or shady corner.

Not really invasive, but it reseeds . The flowers are on a spire and I think quite lovely. A pretty plant, but not in your strawberry patch, lol! Just transplant to a better spot to let it show you all its glory - you may love it!

just a little warning - foxgloves are pretty but also poison.
