Broccoli

London, United Kingdom Gb

for the last 2 years i've tried to grow Calabrese and Purple Sprouting broccoli. the Purple Sprouting does grow, but it's not purple, but the problem i have is that the Calabrese won't form heads at all. Anyone have any ideas as to what i can do?
