Hi everyone ... a bit of a dilemma at the moment .. received a bare root Austin rose a few days ago and my grounds still frozen ..can anyone help me with ways i can prolong my roses life as i dont see the freezing tempatures easing off very soon .. big thanks p.

i would be inclined to plant it up into a pot untill it shows signs of life in the spring .

Agree with NP - I also have bare root plants sitting in pots till the ground defrosts. Will not do them any harm sitting in moist compost in a pot!

How do I say thanks?
