by accident ortho weed-be-gone was sprayed into flower bed and suggestions other than extra watering or digging up flowers

Oh dear. Is it a systemic weed killer? I don't think you will be able to save them if so. If it's a foliage killer, you might save some by cutting them back and feeding them, but I don't hold out much hope. I am sorry. You must be upset.
