What's wrong with my mint?

Hi, can anyone tell me what's wrong with my mint, and how to treat it? From the reading I've done I don't think it's rust as there are no rusty orange spots and no pustules on the stems. Thanks

Wouldn't harm it to cut it back to encourage new growth I should think

I would cut it right back too, this happened to mine and it re-grew nicely. Its winter here for us and my mint is re-sprouting like it is spring!

Ackers 20 is in Australia, Snoopdog, the mint is just coming into growth over there. Some of the leaves do lokk like last summers, though.
