Cattleyas, who's the expert??

This question is on Orchidaceae
I've got several cattleyas and they have never bloomed/rebloomed for me. The plants themselves look great. They're growing and getting bigger, but no flowers. I want flowers, that's why I bought them. Any suggestions?

Soritzhenry- I'm sorry too :( about not having any replies to my cattleya question. I would really love for my cattleya's to bloom. I few of mine may be too young. I got them as starts at an orchid show. I'm almost certain that at least one of them was in bloom when I bought it. I guess that I'll just have to be patient. I'll look into the book that you mentioned. Thanks :)

Sorry you haven't had an answer - I grow orchids, but not Cattleyas. i was going to buy a new book by Dr Hessayon in his excellent 'Expert' series - can you get them over there? They are easy to read paper backs but full of information.
