Why have my Tomato Plant stems have gone brown and leaves are drying out
The plants are planted in grow bags and are against a fence. The garden faces south, so sun falls upon them during afternoon. Plants have been healthy up to now, plenty of fruit all green. Wondered if fruit will ripen before all the plant looses their leaves

You can actually remove the foliage at this time of year, plant does not need anymore and will them focus on feeding the actual tomatoes. This will allow more sun to the ripening fruit and hopefully help you to avoid blight.
