My ponytail palm has stopped growing. The top looks droopy & sad. It has been in the same container about 1 1/2 yrs. But we have had it for almost 20 yrs. It's about 6' tall.What can I do to perk it up?

Have you moved it to a very shady spot, or farther from the windows, recently, Reddog? Lack of light is the likeliest cause of the problem you are describing. A bad case of scale or mealybugs could also cause the same symptoms, but the bugs would be obvious by that point.
