Patchwork, what are they?

I have little while bulbs and the only indicator as to what it is is the word Patchwork on the packaging. I'd like to grow them but I'm not sure how to go about it.

They won't grow at all if they don't get planted so why not just bung then in and give them a go? That's the fun of gardening.
