Spruces

I have 2 spruces, one a blue spruce the other a norway spruce both are around 2 years old, they have both started to die and are going brown, is it the dry winter? should I water them every day?

don't know about you , but certainly not been a dry winter down here on the south coast. Are they in pots, or are they in the ground ? they should be bursting into new growth by now, and if they are they are not dieing no matter how brown the old needles may be, this would indicate a pest attack. If there is no new growth by now, then the chances are they are dead, a photo would have been more help.
