I've grown tradescantia in the garden, for the first time this year. It flowered it's little head off all summer, but now looks ready to hibernate for the winter. Can someone tell me just how far to cut it back now please? thanks.

It will die back to resting buds just below the surface. I don't bother cutting it back at all, just remove the dead leaves, usually in Spring.
