can I move a lavatera trimestris plant?

Bristol, United Kingdom Gb

I have sown a some lavatera seeds this year which have grown well are are flowering - however I now need to move it as I didn't realise how big it would grow! Can I move it a few feet away from where it is at the moment, and if so when is the best time to do this?

As it's an annual, there's very little purpose in moving it, as it will die in the autumn anyway. Trying to shift it, which you could only do with a very large root ball, would probably cause it to die off anyway.
You need lavatera arborea or one of the other perennials if you want a perpetual plant.
