cupressus wilma - safe to grown next to house

I planted a lemaon scented cupressus wilma conifer next to my kitchen window, in 9 years it has grown to about 7foot. Is it likely to do any damage to my property with roors

It's maximum height is said to be 6 feet - yours has obviously exceeded that! Conifers are fairly shallow rooting - even so, I wouldn't want it too close to my house, would prefer it to be at least six feet away.

How do I say thanks?
