Is it to late for me to cut back my weigela. i didn't get round to doing it in the spring.

Prune around october back to 8 buds from the main stem of the plant on the new whippy ahoots and then back to 2 buds from the main stem of the plant in october time.
I do mine Dedember and then february with no ill effects

Weigelas should be pruned immediately after the flowers fade as next year's flowres will be carried on the wood made this year
