I had a dahlia with many buds just about to bloom, when i went out to look today, all that was left was a bush with stems about four inchs tall. What has happened to it.

this has happened to one of mine and it is definitely slugs as i saw a little slime ball slithering away. got him/her though.

that calls for more salt in my garden then cheeky critters!!

dont over do the salt or your plants might suffer :o)
