hi there just joined today, we have had some carnation cuttings growing round the side if a pot do they need to be over wintered in the greenhouse.also just given up allotment and now making raised beds around the house anything we can grow now or best to leave till next year.

Marshalls have an offer of broad bean and pea seeds for sowing now. Winter salads, especially if you can provide some shelter.
Can't help for sure with the carnations but my guess would be keep them in the greenhouse.

I have lots of cuttings from my pinks, and shall keep them in the cold frame, as they are very hardy.
