My beaucarnea tree looks very unwell. It has been in the house for 7 years and always done well. Any ideas?

I have no idea what this plant is, but you're right ,it does look very unwell. Have you turned it out of its pot to see what the roots are doing - if you've never repotted it, it will probably be completely potbound.
