My hellebores have grown so much they need to be divided - has anyone had success with these in pots?

I live in Roxburghshire in the Scotish Borders. Our garden is partly walled and fairly sheltered. The hellebores have been in for three years and in the spring were wonderful. They are now needing a bit of space and I have so much foliage!

Remove last year's foliage so that the new leaves have space to grow. If they grow as well in your garden as they do in ours you may just have to dig up and dispose of some...
