I'd like to give some planted up Hycinth bulbs as presents this Christmas. Have I left it too late to plant them up if I'd like them in bud by Christmas?

I wouldn't have thought so. Just make sure you buy prepared bulbs that are intended for early indoor flowering. Check the labels!
