Sarracenia Wrigleyana

I'd be grateful for advice on dos & don'ts. My son's very proud of this new one he's just bought - our first ever.
Many thanks for any comments.

All I know about Sarracenias, Weeding, is that they devour insects, require sun or part shade, and moist, peaty soil. Keep very wet during the growing period, and cool and moist in winter. Hope that helps.
It certainly looks like a terrific plant, and I'm sure your boy is very proud of it.

And water with rainwater - not tapwater.

I have some different Sarracenias that I keep out side all year round. They are in a planter/pot with know drainaige holes at all and I keep them soggy/boggy for most of the year especially during summer. Rain water is a must as Wagger says, tap water will end up killing them.
If yours is indoors make sure he is in a dish and you can top up the water from there.
