Gloriosa

For my birthday this year my beloved got me several unusual plants, among them a gloriosa tuber.
I popped it in a pot in the conservatory & it's now about 5 foot high & producing sideshoots at the top.It also has a flower head!!!
My question is what do I do with it now?I've never had one before,but it looks as if it will be needing a fair bit of support for sideshoots,but at this rate it's outgrowing the conservatory.
Help needed.

You are lucky Meanie...I bought a tuber and it cost me £10...it never grew, just sat in the pot for a year, not one shoot.....Its a beautiful climber...i think it can stay outdoors during summer months.....:>)
