my crassula has gone leggy and lost its lower leaves what does this mean
its on a south west facing window and has been for a long time, it used to be stout and full

They seem to do well with a period of time outside in the summer too, just remember to bring it indoors before the first frosts.

Sounds as if it's run out of footroom and food. Also, do you turn it regularly, or does it always face the same way.
