what is the correct time for planting gooseberry bushes?

early spring or late autumn is best but if they are bought in a pot they can go in any time. just make sure you water well.

as a general rule of thumb most things are best planted while there dorement ie early spring though some plants deal with being moved better than others .some plants dont even like being moved let alone being replanted.
