whats eating the leaves on my gooseberry bush?

the bush is 3 years old and has really cropped well this year, a few days ago i noticed the leaves were being skeletonised, can any one tell me what is causing it and whether i should spray it now or after it has finished fruiting, there are quite a few berries still on the plant and i don,t really want to spray untill all the fruit has been picked. thanks for the replies, how and when is the best time to get rid of them?

Looks like gooseberry sawfly larvae damage to me.

I'd agree with that - gooseberry sawfly caterpillars

How do I say thanks?
