when is the best time to transplant an azalea bush?

Cheshire, United Kingdom Gb

I have an azalea bush grown in a pot. I would like to repot it into a larger one, when is the best time to do this?

On plant azalea

surely if you were steady enough and if it was into the same compost then it would really make a difference as it would still be in the same place and all that, good luck and i hope i helped, also i think they say with azaleas and acid loving plants to transplant them when there dormant, could be the case with all plants,Rich

pot to pot or pot to soil it can be any time. tease any roots that are tightly coiled and then make sure it is watered well.
