Asked on 6 May, 2008
I PLANTED A CLIMBING ROSE BUSH LAST YEAR AND IT TOOK RIGHT OFF! I WAS SO BEATUIFULL LAST FALL. SO FAR THIS YEAR IT ONLY HAS A LITTTLE GREEN AT THE BOTTOM. THE REST LOOKS LIKE IT IS DEAD. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Post a picture please so that we can see what the trouble is. You may have to cut it back to the live part if it really has died back, then feed it with blood, fish and bone (if you can get it where you live). The question is why! Was it exceptionally cold or does it look as if something has attacked it?
