HAILSTORM!!!!!!!

Gosh just saw it on our news.

Very foggy and heavy rain with us but no hailstones .

Strange weather.

We,re near Loughborough Poppy and yes HUGE hailstones torrential rain thunder and lightning overhead.......so black at one point the house needed lights.....seems to have been rolling around for hours and still grumbling.....

Friend has just come in and near to Loughborough hospital a wall of water flooded the road he was to turn into....luckily he was able to turn round and come back here....

It was like that outside my house Pam,VERY heavy rain after the hail but it didn't wash all the stones away,still some there now on the grass very strange because its so warm today...just looked out at my temp gauge ....and its broken the flipping hands off!!!!!Hope there is not anymore damage,but I must admit I do love a storm.Suns out now but its still rumbling!!

Syston has dented cars, a friends is really pock marked....never seen anything like it!

Dented cars here too AND broke wing mirrors,just seen it on face book.Glad mine was in the garage....beautiful now and so HOT very weird,feel like I've dreamt it!!!!!

Very odd Poppy, fom before 6.00am to about 5.00pm and as you say clear blue sky.

Hearing tales of broken windows,holes in caravans and all sorts of damage a couple of miles away guess I have been very lucky.

Those look lethal ! I hope they didn't cause any damage ...

the car I saw Hywel had golfball size depressions all over the bonnet, roof and less on the sides, poor guy only had it a couple of months, my friend who lives in the area affected thought her windows were coming in with the size and ferocity of the hail....many gh now need new glass.....
