It is the dove's in my garden there are three of them that fight over the food.

I'm jealous, never had a woodpecker in my garden. :o((

we get a woodpecker quite often ( you should see the old apple & plum tree) he's quite alert to any movement but usually ignores the bluetits

Thats great, I`ve only ever seen one around here and that was a few years back.....

last year we had the great pleasure of watching a green woodpecker on the lawn showing its baby how to eat ants......bless.....

Sounds lovely, we get green woodpeckers once in a while but great spotted more often, when they have their young, usually around june when they come to the feeders they are really comical :-))
