I pulled out yards of this earlier this month. Still, it kept down the weeds from next door.

I have my variegated Vinca under my Red Camellia, just chop bits off to keep it in check.

It does take root where ever it touches ,I pot my rooted ones up and then use them in summer pots where you need something hanging down ...

Amy - I do a similar thing with the golden form of creeping jenny. I wouldn't dare let it loose in the garden!

I must remember to put Creeping Jenny on my ' Wanted ' list Andrew :o)

The best way to get hold of it is to find a friend nearby who has it. He/she is bound to have a rooted piece to pass on.

Pretty leaf Dd:-)
I do that too Amy :-)
Omg know just what you mean Andrew I've been pulling creeping Jenny up by the barrow full it had even grown into our pond and was happily growing under the water!!, I do find it handy for growing on a steep slope we have though round the base of shrubs it stops the weeds in a spot that's tricky to weed.
