Yes, it's a good vine for a trellis or big tree. I wanted to plant this vine on my shade structure. I was afraid there would be way too many spiders living it, though.

I still may take my purple wings vine down off of my shade structure yet. There's still tons of spiders in it. I like the spiders because they eat other bugs...I just hate walking into spider webs all the time. UGH!

.I just hate walking into spider webs all the time. UGH! ? ?? your like my 19 year old grandson and 29 year old daughter.
I give them a brush to brush them away which saddens me have you ever sat and watched a spider spinning a complete web I have it takes ages it secretes it from their mouth then pulling it and sealing it into the other forming a pattern going around its web starting at the centre working outwards in a circle.

Yes I think you should grow it shame you would have to take purple Wings down I ve not seen that.

Yes, spider webs are quite spectacular! I have seen spiders taking down their webs in the morning. It's so very interesting.

I do really like my Dalechampia dioscoreifolia (Purple Wing Vine). If you touch the flowers it can cause a horrible dermatitis. It's happened to me twice, until I figured out it was the flowers causing it. It was so bad I had to go to my doctors.

Here's some pics, my camera doesn't pick up the true purple color of the flowers very well. (it's strange).

Yes it is not sure if it's to do with our immune system or blood type or our bodies need it as I know small dosses of poisons cures another poison or certain illness.
If you are O type blood your more likely to attract being bitten by mosquito s.

Yes it is I think it could be to do with our immune system which reading gm foods distroy our immune system or it could be our blood type or some might need that poison as I know small doses of poison can kill another poison in the body.
Like if your blood type O you are more likely be bitten by a Mosquito.

off the net

Blood type – Depending on the type of blood you have, you secrete different scents. Studies have shown that mosquitoes are most attracted to Type O blood and least attracted to Type A. No changing your blood type either.
