This is a beautiful small tropical tree! It needs to be planted in partial shade or the leaves will scorch in the intense sun here in San Diego, CA. Photo taken Jan. 9, 2017.

It had flowers on it. There's several in Balboa Park. Some are the yellow and green variety.

The blooms and seeds are filled with sticky black goo that can trap small birds.
Great looking though.
